39th Annual Winona Jazz Festival
The Upper Mississippi Jazz Society presents the 39th Annual Winona Jazz Festival from August 14 to 16. The festival features performances at various venues:

Big Muddy Best in Area Tasting
Support Engage Winona and enjoy local cuisine at the Big Muddy Brew N Que Best in Area Tasting Competition on Saturday, August 15, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The event takes place at the Merchants Bank parking lot and features eight local restaurants partnering with nonprofits to serve tasting portions. History on the River: Navigating the Lock and Dam System
Join the Winona County Historical Society for a river cruise aboard the Cal Fremling Boat on Thursday, August 27. Learn about the history, creation, and modern work of the lock and dam system.
